Microsoft Intune Automatic Location Permission

To capture the SSIDs of connected WiFi networks on Android, the Trustd app requires the location permission. This can either be granted by the user in the app, or automatically granted by Microsoft Intune via the following configuration process:

1. In Microsoft Intune, navigate to App Configuration Policies
2. Edit (or Add) the App Configuration policy which targets the Trustd app on the Android Platform
3. Press <Edit> next to “Settings”
4. Under “Permissions” press <Add>
5. Select “Location access (fine)”
6. Select “Location access (coarse)”
7. Press <OK>
8. Select <Auto-Grant> under “Permission state” for both permissions
9. Review and Save the policy
