Samsung Smart Stay is a feature of some Samsung devices. It accesses the camera periodically to check if you’re still looking at the screen, preventing automatic lock if you’re watching a video for example and haven’t touched the screen for a while.
Because the Trustd app detects camera access, it will alert you every time Smart Stay does this, which could get quite annoying! So we suggest we turn off Smart Stay.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell if your device has this feature, and Android won’t let us know if Smart Stay has been disabled – so if you’ve turned Smart Stay off already, or you don’t have Smart Stay – you can simply hit “Ignore” on our notification in the Trustd app.
